Balancing Machine for Crankshafts
KHK-ZM
Description
- Soft-bearing vertical balancing machine for measuring and correcting unbalance of disc-shaped rotors in one plane.
- Workpieces clamped on measuring spindle with zero-backlash by expanding sleeve mandrel.
- Strips fed by a vibratory conveyor and transferred to welding station.
- When workpieces are indexed to compensation position, spot-welding device advances to welding location using a servo sliding unit.
- Changeover to other workpiece types by exchanging type-specific adaptor parts.
Applications
- Determination of unbalance and machining offset values of centered unmachined crankshafts.
- Offset values printed out or linked directly to center unit.
- Balancing of repair crankshafts.
- Machining of centered, unmachined crankshafts to finished crankshafts.
- Application with engine suppliers in series production.
Advantages
- For centered, unmachined crankshafts and finished crankshafts.
- Simple retooling to different crankshaft lengths.
- Suited for symmetrical and unsymmetrical crankshafts.
