Balancing Machines With Integrated Correction Systems

Fully Automatic or Semi-Automatic Correction

For decades, Hofmann has been recognized as the leader in custom-designed balancing machines with fully automatic or semi-automatic correction systems. These systems benefit our customers with:

These integrated correction systems can remove or add material as needed for your specific application. Correction processes include:

• Drilling, vertical or horizontal
• Milling
• Grinding
• Nibbling
• Welding
• Epoxy addition

Manual Correction

For simpler balancing processes, we can integrate a separate manual mill or manual drill with your balancing machine. Our correction software clearly displays the amount and location of correction needed, including an optional drilling depth gauge. Result:  a faster process that minimizes correction errors by the operator.

Correction Software

The Hofmann PC-based instrumentation incorporates extensive, user-friendly software for our correction systems. Our setup screens simplify customization for your exact correction application. Animated drilling graphics (optional) enable the operator to view the drilling process onscreen as it occurs, including a drilling depth indicator.

Other features include optimization and visually referenced diagnostic tools. Ethernet options enable Hofmann engineers to monitor balancing machine operation in real time for analysis and diagnostics.
