Active Balancing Systems
Reduce downtime by correcting unbalance during operation.
A machine monitor primarily checks whether vibrations are within a permissible range during operation. However, what if the limits are exceeded? Field balancing devices require you to stop the machine to balance the rotors. This costs in loss of production.
You can avoid this downtime by installing a Hofmann active balancing system. Our systems measure machine vibrations as the part rotates, and reduce the unbalance to preset limits during operation.
Additionally, you can use the measured data to both monitor and eliminate unbalance vibrations at their source.
Hofmann has the right active balancer for your machine.
