PB-2000 Portable Balancer

The PB-2000 is a light-weight, compact field balancer. It enables you to quickly and accurately measure both unbalance and vibration in real work situations. Designed to accommodate a variety of field conditions, the unit includes a back-lighted screen and durable keypad with covered, membrane-type switches. It operates on either ac or battery power.

A simple, logically designed menu system provides three operating modes and multiple balancing selections. This flexibility enables you to use the PB-2000 on all your rotating equipment.

Balancer Features

• Light weight, portable unit with carrying case
• Power flexibility: either 120 V ac, 230 V ac, or battery (six standard size C batteries)
• Step-by-step menus for simple operation
• Three operating modes:
• Vibration severity, meeting ISO 10816 standards
• Vibration measurement (level of synchronous vibration)
• Unbalance measurement and calculation of correction
• Multiple balancing (correction) selections:
• One plane standard, two planes optional
• Add or remove weight
• Type of units
• Type of correction (polar, component, split angle)
• Multiple display languages
• One accelerometer (pickup) for vibration sensing, with magnetic mounting base
• Photocell for speed measurement and phase reference, and holder with magnetic base
• PB-2000 training CD for self-paced learning
