Portable Field Balancers and Vibration Testing Devices

Vibration can cause several types of problems with your machinery, such as:

• Endanger the operational safety of roller bearings
• Substantially shorten the life expectancy of roller bearings
• Generate very high noise levels
• Reduce work quality

Hofmann offers two portable test devices that enable you to measure unbalance and vibration in your machinery, onsite and in field conditions:

• The PB-2000 Portable Balancer, which measures both unbalance and vibration
• The VL 8000 Vibration and Balancing Instrument

Both devices are simple to use, accurate in readings, and operational in multiple languages. Using the results, you can determine the causes of vibration and amount of unbalance, and correct them as needed.
